Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is a not-for-profit Fortune 500 financial services organization that’s been serving Lutherans and their families for more than a century. We serve the financial needs of more Lutherans than any other financial services organization.

But we are much more than that! We are a faith-based membership organization that helps our nearly three million members with what they value most:

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is one of the nation’s largest benevolent organizations with average annual outreach efforts exceeding $250 million. Our fundamental purpose is to help others through:

·	Mobilizing member based hands-on service activities

·	Supplementing local fund-raising efforts

·	Supporting individuals, families, and other not-for-profit organizations in need of assistance

The largest partnership in our history was initiated with Habitat for Humanity on January 1, 2006. This new program, entitled “Thrivent Builds,” is providing $105 million in support of the partnership over a four year period. The goal of the “Thrivent Builds” program is to help construct over 2000 homes for needy families in the United States and beyond.
