Old Brick Foundation

The Foundation is an Iowa nonprofit corporation. Its assets are dedicated to restoration, preservation, and maintenance of Old Brick. It has been recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt entity. The purpose of organizing the Foundation was to assure potential contributors that all contributions will be used for restoration, preservation, and maintenance and not for any ministry programs.

The stated purpose of the Foundation is: "The Corporation shall receive and maintain a fund or funds of real or personal property, or both, and use and apply all or any part of the income and principal exclusively for restoration, maintenance, preservation, and improvement of historic Old Brick Church and its environs located at 26 East Market Street, Iowa City, Iowa, and owned by Old Brick Episcopal Lutheran Corporation, an Iowa nonprofit religious organization."
